An executive or LinkedIn session: 90 minutes to 2 hours
Our Executive Portrait Experience is built around one unhurried session. It includes professional hair and makeup or grooming with Sylvia, expert direction on posing and expression from Byron, and up to two looks. If you want a profile photo for LinkedIn, your website and speaker bios, this is the session. The time depends mostly on your hair and makeup. A session with light grooming takes about 90 minutes, which is typical for many men. With full hair and makeup styling, plan on closer to 2 hours. Block out the longer window if you are unsure and you will be set.
An actor session: about 2 hours
Actor sessions take longer because there is more to capture. An actor headshot session includes professional hair and makeup, direction toward your type and range, your slate, and up to three looks, such as theatrical, commercial, character or an optional EPK look. Plan on about 2 hours.
A team session: about 15 minutes per person
For team headshots, the time depends on the size of your group. At about 15 minutes per person, a team of 10 is roughly two and a half hours of photographing, plus setup. We can come to your office or photograph your team in our studio, and we schedule around your team's availability. A group photo can be added.
What happens after the session
The session itself is only part of the timeline. Your private online gallery is ready within 3 business days. You choose your favorites, and your retouched finals are delivered within 2 business days of your selection, often sooner. If you have a tight deadline for an interview, a speaking engagement or a casting call, tell us when you book and we can typically accommodate rush requests.
Scheduling
Sessions are by appointment, Monday through Saturday, between 8am and 6pm. A $100 deposit reserves your date. You can see exactly what each session includes and costs before you book.
